Session bookings can be done online from the Sessions page. If you have any trouble, please reach out either via the Contact page or contact me directly on: 0415 257 155 or hi@siobanlaffey.com.au. If you are a new client, please book in for a free 20 Connection Call first. This gives us a chance to connect, get to know each other a little and check that we are a good fit for working together.

Connection Calls are always free. If you have private health insurance coverage, some sessions may be eligible for rebates from your fund - check your extras cover for the level of psychology cover. Generally private health rebates are approximately $60-$70, however some high levels of cover have rebates up to $110. I use Halaxy as my practice software for bookings and invoices etc. Halaxy is also available for clients to access (for free). This enables you to view all your appointments, reschedule appointments and cancel appointments. I am also able to share documents with you in your portal if we need to. At this stage, I have to manually email you an invite to the Halaxy Portal. If I haven't done this yet, please get in touch with me. 1. You can cancel or reschedule sessions using the links in reminder SMS & emails sent to you. 2. You can view, reschedule and cancel any upcoming session by accessing your Halaxy patient portal. (If you don't yet have access to the Halaxy portal I can invite you via email, just let me know). As per the cancellation policy, please give at least 2 business day notice (48hrs+) to avoid paying the full fee. Appointments are not able to be cancelled via Halaxy if it's within the 2 business days notice period.

If you get stuck you can contact me directly on 0415 257 155. Please give me at least 2 business days notice (48hrs+) for cancellations. The full fee is payable for cancellations within 48hrs.

PRIVATE HEALTH FUND REBATES: As a registered psychologist I am automatically registered with most health funds, enabling you to receive rebates through your extras cover. If you wanted to double check you can do this with your health fund. The details you will need are: Name: Sioban Laffey Address: Suite 3, Level 11, 88 Tribune Street, South Brisbane Qld 4101 Provider: 427379JX The amount of the rebate depends on your level of extras cover - generally in the range of $60-70. However, top level cover from certain funds (e.g. Bupa) is approx $100. I can process health fund rebates with my Hicaps terminal for in-office sessions. For online sessions I email you the receipt for you to claim (private health funds don't allow me to process claims remotely for you). MEDICARE - Mental Health Care Plans (MHCPs): I no longer offer sessions under Medicare Mental Health Care Plans due to the administrative load and modality restrictions. However, you can claim private health rebates for sessions if you have psychology extras cover.
