The Longer Story...

It was during my teenage years that I discovered I wanted to be a psychologist. Throughout my life, my empathic, highly-sensitive nature has connected me to the experiences of humanity and nature. This connection has fueled my passion for making my contribution to the greater good... and you!

I have 20 years’ experience in private practice, hospitals, universities, schools and wellbeing retreats.

With over two decades of experience across various clinical and research settings, I've intentionally explored diverse roles and contexts, gaining profound insights into what it takes for individuals like us to thrive.

Today, my passion lies in working with ADHD adults who identify as women. I'm particularly passionate about inspiring those who are newly diagnosed or suspect they have ADHD, to help them understand themselves, harness their ADHD gifts and manage the tricky bits. I also love working with other women who are looking for a holistic approach for their wellbeing

In my approach, I take a positive stance, challenging the predominant focus on deficits and heavily clinical approaches for treatment.

I firmly believe that ADHD comes with numerous strengths, including intuition, creativity, resilience, and empathyI believe in nurturing and celebrating the unique qualities that come with ADHD.

I think clients connect with me as I don’t position myself as an expert. While I bring experience, research and skills to the table, I'm on my own journey too, and I'm open to sharing my experiences appropriately during our sessions. I believe in the mantra of 'perfectly imperfect' – seeing ourselves as whole, powerful, and worthy beings, regardless of our 'imperfections.' After all, that's the essence of the human condition.

My path and learning has led me to embrace ancient wisdom, spirituality and alternative approaches, which, combined with my psychology background, provide a powerful, holistic approach.

My experience has revealed a simple yet profound truth: what we all need is connection. Connection on every level – to our bodies, hearts, and minds, to deep bonds with others, nature, a sense of purpose, and the sacred. This wisdom isn't new, nor is it mine; I believe it's a universal truth that resides deep within us all.

Finding a harmonious balance between these connections in our modern, fast-paced world can be challenging, especially with ADHD. Personally, I'm inclined toward a slower, simpler life that aligns with natural laws and ancient wisdom. My highly sensitive nature resonate with this approach, and I mindfully monitor that balance while managing businesses and being a mom to a lovely 18-year-old son.

In my work, I infuse joy and fun as powerful healers, and this ethos guides everything I do.

Finally, despite being a city girl now, I'm passionate about reaching out to clients all over Australia, especially in rural and remote communities, where access to psychology services may be limited (especially holistic services). I've had the privilege of working with clients from all over Australia including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.
